Linetta Marouf, PA-C
Board-Certified Physician Assistant
Linetta graduated from Wayne State University with her master's degree in physician assistant studies in 2006. She immediately began her career practicing gastroenterology with Dr. Ghiath Tayeb and has remained with the practice since 2006.
With several years of experience in gastroenterology, Linetta has developed a deep expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders. Throughout her tenure, she remains dedicated to determining the root cause of patient symptoms to deliver comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
She strongly believes in high-level patient care grounded in kindness, honesty, and respect. Her sincerity, calmness, and empathy have contributed to her being highly regarded as a trusted provider who really cares about her patients.
Bashar S. Sileewa, MSN, RN, FNP-C
Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Bashar is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. He graduated as a registered nurse in 2013 and worked in emergency and cardiac settings. In 2018, he earned his Master of Science in nursing with a family nurse practitioner concentration from South University. Bashar has been practicing in the specialized field of gastroenterology and hepatology since 2019. His approach aims at individual holistic care and involves the patient in their treatment plan. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, playing soccer, traveling, and socializing with friends.
Carly Kassa, MSN, RN, AGNP-C
Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner
Carly is a board-certified adult gerontology nurse practitioner. She has been working in medicine since 2008 in various roles, including telemetry RN and internal medicine, before landing in gastroenterology in 2019. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2012 and her Master of Science as a nurse practitioner in 2017 from Oakland University. Go Grizzlies!
Her goal is to provide excellent care to her patients, focusing on prevention through healthy lifestyle choices. In her free time, Carly enjoys making memories with her husband, three children, and extended family, trying new restaurants, and traveling the world.

Rita earned a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences with a minor in psychology before advancing her education at Midwestern University to become a certified physician assistant. She has been dedicated to the healthcare field since the age of 18. With over six years of diverse clinical experience across multiple specialties as a physician assistant, she is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and empowering individuals to manage their health effectively for lasting well-being.
Jaclyn Gingrich, MSN, NP-C
Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner
Jaclyn Gingrich is a dedicated gastroenterology nurse practitioner with a strong background in internal medicine and a passion for improving patient outcomes. She earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Oakland University in 2012 and went on to complete her Master of Science in nursing–family nurse practitioner in 2018. Jaclyn began her career in internal medicine before transitioning to gastroenterology in October 2020. Currently, she provides inpatient GI care at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital, where she is committed to delivering compassionate and evidence-based care. While she enjoys managing a variety of gastrointestinal conditions, she is especially passionate about assisting patients with liver disease.
Beyond her professional role, Jaclyn values the balance between her career and family life. As a mother of two, she enjoys working part-time, allowing her to stay actively involved in her children's activities. This balance enables her to maintain both her dedication to patient care and her commitment to family. With a patient-centered approach, Jaclyn strives to enhance the quality of life for those she treats, ensuring they receive the best possible care and support throughout their health journey.
Emily Slabotsky, MMS, PA-C

Emily is a dedicated and compassionate board-certified physician assistant specializing in gastroenterology. She graduated from Midwestern University with a Master of Medical Science and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Practicing since 2017, Emily is adept at managing complex digestive disorders and works closely with physicians and medical staff to deliver comprehensive treatments. She has a special interest in gastroenterology, knowing that the digestive system plays a crucial role in overall health and well-being. She is proficient in conditions that impact the gastrointestinal tract and is committed to promoting long-term health and wellness through her patient-centered approaches. She enjoys the continuously evolving field of gastroenterology and focuses on both prevention and intervention. Emily is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants (MAPA). Outside of practicing medicine, Emily enjoys spending time with her two children and husband, as well as cooking, traveling, and reading.

Outside of her professional life, Kristine enjoys spending quality time with her family, experimenting with new baking recipes, and catching the latest movies. Her goal is to make sure her patients feel not only informed but also comfortable, taking the time to break things down and explain diagnoses, treatment plans, and outcomes in a way that's clear and easy to understand.
